Roadmap to Delicious

Lime Lovin’

  • We went on a Sunday night around 5:30p. I would expect service to be slow right after lifts close at 4p on Sunday for all of the people trying to avoid traffic going back to Denver, and it did look packed at that time. Since we went later, there was less of a crowd. Our server was really good. My son and I both enjoyed the food. Lots of libations choices as well for a good apres ski. This is a ski resort restaurant, so expect prices to be exorbitant. High convenience factor for those staying in Winter Park village since it is just a short walk from any of the lodging places.

  • My husband I shared a taco platter here one night ($24). It was so good! We had more than enough food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, but my main reason for the review is to praise our waiter, Marcus. He was the hardest working waiter I have ever seen! He worked fast, efficiently, and even though he was busy didn't miss a single refill or request! He was 5 star quality!

  • $3 happy hour (3-6pm) house margaritas are an incredible deal. Very good food; the place is a bit small but there's obviously not much they can do about that. One of the few places I found in Winter Park that will split bills for small groups. Try the fish tacos.

  • Recently went to Winter Park with the family and wandered into Lime which is amazingly centrally located. The moment I tasted the salsa ( spicy, rich, fire roasted tomato based) I knew we were in for a treat. Each dish served looked "Mexican" , but belied the intense flavors underneath. I discovered that the chef and crew are San Salvadorian which explains the variety and depth/ differences. If you're a Mexican food fan, try this for a very pleasant surprise!
